1489371 2022-11-21 01:45:00 For the last month or so, whenever I do a Google Search on Firefox or Chrome I get accused of being a robot, and have to look for boats, buses, etc. When I eventually get through I have forgotten what I was looking for in the first place! Makes no difference if the Express VPN is on, or off.

System is Linux Mint Cinnamon v21
Laptop is Dell 17 5000 series, Intel CORE i7 8 GB Ram.
Firefox is v107
Chrome is also v107

Same. And I have had a couple of times, logging into to google, PC Unsafe, can't. A refresh stops it.

1489373 2022-11-21 04:57:00 You say it only happened in the last month or so? I believe I use to have this issue a year or more back but I no longer have to worry since I now use DuckDuckGo or StartPage.

Cheers,

Kame

1489375 2022-11-21 18:52:00 Are the sites http or https ?

Express VPN will have absolutely nothing to do with it.

It won't do it for me today! The site must be Google because it doesn't let me in. Must be an excessive security setting somewhere.

1489377 2022-11-22 04:34:00 I've only had that message when accessing Google through TOR.
Are you sure your VPN is working properly?

1489378 2022-11-22 07:24:00 Google are securing more and more. Was advised a few weeks back that google may even at some stage block /not list unsecure sites. wainuitech (129)

My website can be accessed with both http & https. There is no reason for excessive security on it, no transactions are done on it, only has an email form. You can set the Browser to receive https only, but you miss out on a lot of websites.

Doesn't matter -- Google are changing the security. Meaning if your site only has http instead of https (with a legit certificate) then they will be moving that site down the search results, or worse case block you. Thats direct from my web host.(approx a month ago got the email) wainuitech (129)
