One of the predominant beliefs will be that a supreme being made it all and ultimately is in charge, also pro-life and nationalistic, all the cliches in fact. At 16 easily manipulated and led, just what the national party/republicans want. An educated population can see through their lies and that is the last thing conservatives want. Younger people want to believe things in general are more black and white than gray which more experienced people learn as they get older if they have half a brain. |

You have got that exactly 100% wrong. Young people almost without exception believe everything they have been told regarding saving the planet and if they are given the right right to vote are going to vote left and green. Why do you think that the Green Party is so keen to have the voting age reduced to 16? |

My children wouldn't abuse the law" silly woman! In the early 60's I and most of my friends, mostly from middle class families were drinking in pubs at 17-18. Her kids were probably getting sloshed every weekend like we were. Ken ;) |
