| 1489169 | 2022-10-31 07:27:00 | Hi. Im after some pdf reader alternatives. Not Adobe . Something that doesnt have a large side bar with unwanted options I have to pay for :groan: Something very basic . Something that can show a 2 page pdf with both pages side by side on the screen Im trying Sumatra , any other good FREE pdf readers ? |

| 1489174 | 2022-11-01 02:35:00 | There's actually quite a few all have different options, some good some not so good. Most will have a free ( restricted version) as well as paid. Example. There's Soda Desktop Free and paid options. There's PDF Xchange (free and paid versions) [URL="www.tracker-software.com have used nitro Reader ( free) in the past and still do for the odd thing. Many More, some already mentioned. :) Personally I use the free Ashampoo one myself, but that's only because I like their products. Some have the options to adda signature, type etc. Only a few have the options to show two pages side by side. The ones mentioned dont have a large side bar with unwanted options |

I have found the in-browser PDF rendering to be slower than a dedicated program, and sometimes incorrect. On Windows, Sumatra is the best. Foxit turned to sh!t years ago. Linux already has good PDF readers. |
