1489620 2022-12-12 05:40:00 I'll explain.
The shower I bought has sliding doors. They open on rollers.

How mad is that, you'd think anything for kitchens or bathrooms would be 100% stainless.
Product description:
Shower sliding door roller
Double rubber wheel
Mental hook for shower glass door
On top of the shower glass

They were quite clear in their product description. :D

Bet they design them to rust on purpose, just didn't make them rust slow enough...

Me? I'm not much of an engineer. I've leave it to the fix it people. I have enough trouble getting the doors off on my own. They're not super heavy, but it is awkward on my own.

My father used to say, "It's not the heavyosity, it's the awkwisity." I thought that sounded apt here.

1489624 2022-12-15 00:46:00 Well an update.

Mitre10 apparently rang this Fixit firm themselves and then told me they'll be expecting your call.
Guy was going to come look, and said he'd ring me back.
He rang back.
He says, seems I am right and the wheels for this shower have the metal part, not stainless and therefore yes they rust so he suggests I use CRC n them., Goodbye can't help.

Rather ****en lame.

I have seen wheels, nylon, on the net, why they can't do as others here have suggested, and I thought they could too, chnage the wheels to this other sort altogether, well guess it's too involved or something.

So I'll see if I can find some handyman person to do it for me, and order the wheels myself.
