| 1489043 | 2022-10-23 23:30:00 | So we should just forget about the Jewish Holocaust because it was so long ago and accept Nazi philosophy as those sentiments still exist in certain people in Australia to this day. Gina Rinehart is definitely a chip off the old block, her actions here say so.There's one hell of a difference between the Jewish Holocaust and someone making a comment. So going by your reasoning ANYTHING you say at any time can come back even after you die and you will be held accountable, even though there's a high chance it was a off the cuff comment at the time. |

Saying that you would have people sterilized and allow time to just cause the race to go out of existence is not a passing comment that should just be forgotten because it was made a while ago in a different time, it's exactly the philosophy that led to the Holocaust and has an echo in Tasmania. |

Gosh this was a recent statement, disgusting. He should have been prosecuted for inciting racial hatred and a penalty should be imposed today forcing the company to not welsh on its previous arrangement with Netball Australia without players having to wear the logo. No wonder she doesn't want to wear a logo which represents a man/company like this, dead or alive. |

If you read the complete article, you would also have read the last two lines The Diamonds are yet to wear a uniform with the Hancock logo on it — and it now appears that they never will. As the article mentions several times sport should not be a platform for Social media and Political causes or self-publicity, add in a lot of misreporting by media and everyone suffers. I'm sure other sports would gladly welcome 15 Million in Sponsorship. |

If you cant understand after reading the complete article as to why they pulled the sponsorship then I'm not going to try and explain it to you. :groan: You watch next thing they will all be complaining we have no money etc, tough -cry me a river :) |

| 1489050 | 2022-10-24 04:55:00 | I read the complete article and it is obvious to me what is going on knowing the characters involved because they never vary, ie National Party Voters or the equiv thereof, businessmen/women, naive young sportspeople, the younger people want to uphold their integrity by not wearing advertising which is sponsoring from a company that has a racist past, true to form at the first sign of ethics, acted upon rather than spoken about, the right wing supporters, ie businessmen withdraw their finances if things aren't going as they wish or they have been exposed in unethical behaviour. That about sums it up. I saw why they said they withdrew sponsorship but that is a smokescreen just because things didn't go how they wanted them to, rather than being worried in the way they said they were, LOL, they don't give a crap about anything but money and looking good to their mates. |

It never ceases to amaze me how two different people can read an article and interpret it entirely differently. For instance I interpret the article as saying A small group of Loony Left Wing Losers, who are already $7M in debt, blow a $15M sponsorship over what a dead man said 40 years ago. Unbelievable. I suppose today theyll glue themselves to something. |

| 1489052 | 2022-10-24 21:46:00 | I started reading a book yesterday and one part was about a young a boy of the Jewish faith being bullied by two Christian boys. They threw him into an earth pit on a construction site shouting the "Jews murdered Christ" The year the book had this take place was 1925. Is this normal after all this time, nearly 2 centuries later? Forgiveness takes a long time with some. I spoke to my philosopher son about Lang Hancock. My son, who epitomizes Socrates old saying "marry. If you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.” His opinion was that very rich people are ar**holes. Thats why they are rich. Ken |
