1489410 2022-11-21 23:04:00 I have an ASUS laptop Expert Book B1500 (64 bit) Win 10 fully updated.
Yesterday I got a notification about a Java update being available. On clicking on Java I got a message "we notice you have not used Java in the last 6 months.".
Essentially suggesting i uninstall it which I did.

I have not (consciously) used java at any stage.
Should I have any concerns?

Guidance please

Keep it installed and make sure you also update it regularly.

Some programs use it in the background and it isn't obvious.

1489414 2022-11-27 07:33:00 If you uninstalled it, you shouldn't have received an update prompt. Unless you have multiple versions installed at once or something. Better to uninstall all of them and then install the latest, probably. Agent_24 (57)
