1489037 2022-10-23 22:05:00 Encouraging genocide and making statements to that effect is obviously wrong. Yes it is, but if you read the article the comment was made almost 40 odd years ago, and the guy has been dead for 30 years and NOW someone gets their feelings hurt and undies in a bunch, hell she wasn't even born when the guy died. *** wainuitech (129)
1489038 2022-10-23 22:06:00 A comment made by someone 34 years ago would in no way even mildly anoy me. Furthermore to now blame the guys daughter for it today is beyond ridiculous. Netball Australia is showing what is meant by "cutting off your nose to spite your face". CliveM (6007)
1489039 2022-10-23 22:17:00 So we should just forget about the Jewish Holocaust because it was so long ago and accept Nazi philosophy as those sentiments still exist in certain people in Australia to this day.

Gina Rinehart is definitely a chip off the old block, her actions here say so.

Not at all, but the German people of today are not responsible for the Holocaust carried out 80 years ago.

It's a cultural thing so if they are German they have a world-view which resulted in what happened in the past and well they know it, still to this day and forward they are very careful about allowing Nazi symbols, action, talk to not have any place in their present culture.

They know how easily it can get out of hand. It's there in Aussie culture as well, just look at what happened in Tasmania.

The netball player does not want to wear advertising symbols which represent out of date philosophies of hatred from the past to her, just like the Germans won't allow.
